Grading Policies
Grade Constitution
Final grades in this course will be constituted according to the following formula:
- reading quizzes 10%
- theme paper 15%
- mid-term exam 15%
- term paper 20%
- final project ("The Victory of Horus") 25%
- class participation and attendance 15%
The final project and term paper are mandatory for all students. Students not completing these will receive a failing grade in the course regardless of their grade standings.
Grade Scale
The grading scale employed in this class to evaluate all examinations, papers, essays, quiz, etc., is as follows:
| A | = 90-100 |
| B+ | = 86-89 |
| B | = 80-85 |
| C+ | = 76-79 |
| C | = 70-75 |
| D | = 60-69 |
| F | = 0-59 |
