Grade Constitution
Final grades in this course will be constituted according to the following formula:
- map quizzes (3) 10%
- reading quizzes (3) 10%
- theme essay 15%
- mid-term exam 15%
- term paper 20%
- final exam 15%
- attendance & participation 15%
Grade Scale
The grading scale employed in this class to evaluate all quizzes, examinations, papers, essays, etc. is as follows:
| A | = 91-100 | [extraordinary] |
| B+ | = 86-90 | [very good] |
| B | = 81-85 | [good] |
| C+ | = 76-80 | [slightly above average] |
| C | = 71-75 | [average] |
| D | = 60-70 | [poor] |
| F | = 0-59 | [failure] |
